Renters must contact AVIS at least 7 working days prior to the pick-up date to report the cross-border request for application of the special cross-border permit. Credit card information (number, expiration date, security code) is needed to secure the permit. Cancellation for cross border must be done 48 hours before pickup.A border permit is required the cost is 60,000 ARP(taxes excluded).

Notes: When crossing the border into Brazil, you can only travel to Foz do Iguazu in Brazil, and the driving distance within the territory of Brazil shall not exceed 50 kilometers.
