Renters must contact AVIS at least 7 working days prior to the pick-up date to report the cross-border request for application of the special cross-border permit. Credit card information (number, expiration date, security code) is needed to secure the permit. Cancellation for cross border must be done 48 hours before pickup.A border permit is required the cost is 60,000 ARP(taxes excluded).

Renters must contact AVIS (Tel: + 54 0810 9991 2847; Email: reservations@avis.com.ar) at least 7 working days prior to the pick-up date to report the cross-border request, so that AVIS can apply for and prepare the special cross-border permit. If the request is confirmed, the customer must provide their credit card information (number, expiration date, security code) to secure the permit. If renters cancel the cross-border request less than 48 working hours before the pick-up date and time, an administrative fee will be charged to their credit card, and the amount of the fee will be the same as the cross-border fee. Notes: When crossing the border into Brazil, you can only travel to Foz do Iguazu in Brazil, and the driving distance within the territory of Brazil shall not exceed 50 kilometers. The applicable locations in Argentina: Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Corrientes, Escobar, Formosa, Iguazu, Mar del Plata, Mendoza, Paraná, Pilar, Posadas, Resistencia, Rosario, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero.
